Ahoy! My name is Shawna Lease, I am a Colorado Native with a passion for environmental stewardship and science. I am a huge nature lover and adventurer, from the tops of mountains all the way to the bottom of the ocean.

I think that in every outdoor activity we participate in we can find ways to incorporate science and sustainability. Even just picking up a few pieces of trash as we leave a park can have a positive impact on our planet.

I have a background in Biology and Anthropology, and the San Luis Valley is bursting with outdoor experiences to learn and teach about all aspects of history and science. I am excited to have the opportunity to help youth safely explore and learn from the wonderful world that surrounds them.
